“Finesse Your Wellness” is a podcast I launched in 2022, driven by my personal experiences with wellness, mental health, and fitness. As a Black woman, I’ve navigated through the complex landscape of health inequalities and discrimination and discovered the stats showing Black women as the least physically active group in the UK. This podcast is my crusade to inspire and motivate Black women across the UK to not only live well, but discover an outlet that supports their mental health in the process. 

Over three seasons, the conversations have ranged from hilarious to deeply personal – but always thought-provoking. I’ve tackled topics such as health, self-care, fitness, and finances with notable guests including Dr. Tosin Ajayi-Sotubo from Channel 4’s ‘Embarrassing Bodies,’ ‘Great British Bake Off’ contestant Benjamina Ebuehi, Peloton instructor Hannah Frankson, and entrepreneur Melanie Eusebe MBE. In the second season, I addressed broader issues like the cost of living crisis and beauty standards with experts like Dija Ayodele of the Black Skin Directory and Nike running coach Dora Atim from London. The most recent season took a deep dive into issues like fibroids in the Black community, nutrition, and bouncing back from health crises.
